If your shoulders are starting to look like a white Christmas in the summertime, then you might have a chronic dandruff problem. Thankfully, there are numerous DIY home remedies at your disposal, which use cheap and common household products that are probably already in your kitchen or medicine cabinet.

Rub some table salt into your hair and wash it out with regular shampoo. The hard grains will help work off loose dandruff that has accumulated on your scalp like a natural exfoliant.

In addition to salt, you can also apply plain yogurt, coconut oil, lemon juice, aloe vera juice, vinegar, baking soda, and other common household products to treat your dandruff problem.
