Remove the top and bottom part of the soda can to create a metal barrier around your young garden plants to protect the roots from cutworms. The sturdy aluminum material also makes the soda can perfect for making an incense stick holder, a DIY ashtray, or simply an office supplies holder for your work desk.

If camping is your thing, you can try making yourself a super-lightweight, super-portable mini-stove out of two aluminum soda cans.
