Today, I'm taking a short break from my usual secret tips to share some exciting news with all of you. As some of you may already know, my first published book "I Think I Am in Friend-Love with You" will be released in bookstores next month.
Based on my viral web comic essay of the same name, "I Think I Am in Friend-Love with You" explores the purely platonic (?) longing to be close friends with someone so you can swap favorite books, watch movies together, and share the same inside jokes about your favorite internet meme cats.
Here are some of the things the book's nameless protagonist hopes to do with his or her friend-love should they ever become friends.
1. Swap Favorite Books
2. Reblog Each Other's Tumblr Reblogs
3. Watch Movies Together
4. Text Each Other When They're Watching Their Favorite TV Show
5. Check Out Local Food Trucks
Of course it's always heart-breaking if there is the possibility that your friend-love is not mutual...
"I Think I Am in Friend-Love with You" is out in bookstores early-December and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Powell Books, Skylight Books, and other popular book retailer websites.
If you've been keeping up with all of my secret tips throughout the years here on WonderHowTo, you might also enjoy my non-how-to work. It could also make for a nice holiday gift for a favorite friend, family member, romantic partner, or super-secret friend-crush.
I hope you all check it out!
