How to Make a Soda Bottle Broom and Milk Jug Dustpan

Need a broom and a dust pan to clean up your living space? Look no further than your recycling bin and upcycle some of your empty drink containers to make new cleaning tools for your home.

Using 3-5 empty 2-liter bottles (labels removed), a wooden dowel, and a few tools from your tool box, you can cut strips into the side of the soda bottle to create sturdy plastic bristles for your soda bottle broom.

Making a milk jug dustpan is even easier. All you need is an empty milk jug with the label removed and a cutting tool to make your own DIY dustpan that comes with its own handle.
