If you ever need to get rid of static cling quickly while on the go, simply run the article of clothing through a metal hanger to dispel the static. You could also place lotion on your skin underneath the clothes you are wearing to get rid of the dryness that is causing the static cling.

To get rid of static cling while doing laundry, place a damp washcloth in the dryer and take out the laundry load before the clothes are completely dry so they retain some dampness that will eliminate any possibility of static cling.

what do you mean "slip clothes through a hanger"? you mean literally slide a hanger over garment? a 5 second process?
i just found that rubbing the flat side of hanger across clothes does trick as does touching grounded metal objects like lampposts, railings, etc. thnx.
Just like a car has a ground wire the negative, to keep the static down. And just like the house has a grounding rod from the light pole that goes into the ground because of the static that could come in that's is a negative energy going into the ground. So it is the same with the hanger when you ride it over the clothing.
